What an artist profile contains

Each artist record stores:

  • Name — the act or performer name used on events and deals
  • Email — primary booking contact
  • Phone — optional
  • Bio — a short note visible to your admin team
  • Tags — freeform labels for filtering (for example, "jazz," "local," "repeat")

Artist profiles are venue-scoped — an artist you add here is only visible to your venue's admin team.

Creating an artist

  1. Go to AdminVenues[venue]Artists.
  2. Click New artist.
  3. Enter the artist's name, email, and any other details.
  4. Click Save.

Linking artists to events

When you create or edit an event, the Artist field on the event series can reference a name. The artist profile is separate from event creation — linking events to artist profiles is done through deals (see Deals and settlements).

Booking history

The artist detail page shows all deals associated with this artist, including deal type, event date, guarantee amount, and status. Use this to see a complete history of engagements.

Tag artists by genre or booking tier so you can filter the list quickly when planning a new season.
