Gift certificates let you give the gift of live events. You buy a certificate for a dollar amount; the recipient uses the code at checkout toward any ticket purchase at that venue.
Buying a gift certificate
Visit the venue's gift certificate page (the venue can share a direct link) or look for a Gift Certificate link on the venue's page.
- Choose an amount from the presets or enter a custom amount.
- Enter the recipient's name and email address. If you are buying for yourself, enter your own details.
- Add a personal message (optional).
- Choose a delivery date — the certificate email can be scheduled for a future date (for example, a birthday).
- Enter your card details and click Purchase.
The recipient receives an email with a PDF showing their unique code in the format GC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. The code has no expiration date.
Using a gift certificate at checkout
- At checkout, look for the Have a gift certificate or account credit? field below the order summary.
- Enter the full code (
GC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and click Apply. - The available balance reduces your total. If the certificate covers the full order, no card is required.
- If the certificate covers only part of the order, enter a card to pay the remainder.
The code is case-insensitive — you can enter it in any capitalization.
Checking your balance
Visit the venue's balance check page (or /gift-certificates/balance/) and enter your code to see the remaining balance.
If you're signed in, go to Profile → Gift certificates & credit to see all your active certificates and balances across all venues.
Gift certificates are venue-specific — a certificate purchased for one venue cannot be used at a different venue.
