Noctern connects to several external services. Some you configure yourself; others are set up by Noctern support.
Payments (Stripe)
Every venue on Noctern accepts card payments through Stripe. By default, Noctern acts as the merchant of record — your venue receives a payout from Noctern after each event.
If your venue wants to use its own Stripe account (so payouts come directly from Stripe), contact Noctern support to set up Stripe Connect. Once connected, the Payouts report in your venue shows your own Stripe payouts rather than Noctern remittances.
QuickBooks Online
Noctern syncs every ticket purchase and online donation to QuickBooks Online automatically. This is a single platform-wide connection managed by Noctern — there is no per-venue QBO configuration for venue admins to perform.

Square (bar sales import)
If your venue uses Square for bar sales and concessions, Noctern can import Square transaction data and attribute bar revenue to specific events for combined reporting. This integration is enabled by Noctern support.
Once active, bar sales appear in your sales report alongside ticket revenue.
Apple Wallet passes
Ticket confirmation emails include an Add to Apple Wallet button. This works automatically for all venues — no setup required. Patrons on iPhone can add their ticket to their Wallet and use it at the door.

Email sending domain
Confirmation and notification emails come from Noctern's email infrastructure by default. You can register your own domain yourself from the Email sending card on AdminVenues[venue]Edit — so every venue email (confirmations, reminders, receipts, and campaigns) sends from your address instead. See "Sending email from your own domain" for the full walkthrough.
Until you verify a domain, your Event email (set in Venue → Edit) is used as the Reply-To address on confirmation emails so patrons can reach you directly.
X/Twitter and Facebook/Instagram (social publishing)
Connect social accounts in AdminVenues[venue]Edit under Social Accounts. X/Twitter connects immediately. Facebook and Instagram require Meta Business Verification approval first — Noctern support can guide you through this process.
