Benjamin Cartel is a lifer — a workingman's songwriter whose journey has taken him across much of the world, first as a member of Kaiser Cartel — whose critically-acclaimed albums earned the duo a spot in the folk-pop revival of the 21st century — and later as an adventurous solo artist. Write At Home, his fourth solo release, marks a new chapter in Cartel's unfolding story, rolling classic pop hooks, indie sensibilities, 1960s influences, and his own brand of American roots rock into a sound that's at once fresh and familiar. Some call it dream-pop. Others call it Americana. "I believe all descriptions apply to what I do. I tend to resist being a ‘genre’ artist. I just want to make the best Benjamin Cartel music." Stone Arch Rivals delivers a fresh, soulful spin on rock and roll, blending timeless grooves with heartfelt, roots-driven songwriting. Based in Minneapolis, the band released their debut album “That’s What They Say” in 2025 produced by Ryan Smith.
